Dining:

DINING AT D-A

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the Wyckoff Dining Hall!
- 7:50 AM Flag Ceremony at Wyckoff Dining Hall
- 8:00 Am Breakfast
- 5:50 PM Flag Ceremony at Wyckoff Dining Hall
- 6:00 PM Dinner
TROOPS WILL BE COOKING 2 DINNERS AND 2 BREAKFASTS AS A PATROL!
We will provide all the ingredients and recipes. You can also find the recipes on our app before camp

Thursday – Dinner
Western night Dinner will be “On The Range” at the Hay pavilion!
Lunch at the Hay Pavilion
• Service starts at 12pm
• Seconds are called at 12:30pm

TROOPS WILL ASSIGN 2 DINING HALL STEWARDS TO EACH MEAL
• Stewards clean your assigned tables after every meal
• Stewards sweep your assigned area after every meal
This is a great way to provide service while you are at camp! Adults can take a “shift” too as part of their leadership award path!

ACTIVITIES

TIE DYE NIGHT
Join us in our Handicraft area from 7-9pm to make your very own custom tie dye shirt. Bring your own shirts from home or purchase one from the Trading Post! Oh, and by the way – it’s free!

PAPER MAKING
Get creative with our handicraft team and try your skills at making your own paper. Dried flowers, colorful recycled papers, or other natural fibers can be part of your creation.

NINJA CANOE AND DUCK RUN
Test your paddle craft skills with our aquatics team! Chase ducks or be chased by ducks!

FISHING CONTEST
BYOP Bring your own poles to any of the fishing docks to catch the big one. Weigh-in is at the aquatics building and needs to be during open
hours.

SIGNS SIGNALS AND CODES
Scout craft is the place to do this fun merit badge! Learn cyphers and send secret messages.

FLY TYING
Practice tying your fly for fly fishing. Please meet at the Picnic tables behind aquatics.

SCOUTMASTER CANNONBALL CONTEST
You don’t have to be the Scout Master to show your style in the cannonball contest. Bring your craziest Scout appropriate outfit and go jump in the lake! Music encouraged; silliness required.

SCOUTER TOP SHOT
Compete for the highest points with our range team.

KARAOKE NIGHT
The Hay pavilion turns into a live studio for a wild Karaoke party. Bring your best singing skills and win the Camp Songbird prize.

JACK SIMS SUMMIT AWARD
The Jack Sims Summit Award is D Bar A’s highest honor. Jack Sims was a D Bar A Ranger and he wholly embodied Scout Ranch Life. Jack Sims was loved by many and has a rich history here at D Bar A. This award was created to honor his legacy, and through your efforts to earn this prestigious award, Jack’s memory lives on. Your Unit will be provided the requirements to earn this coveted award upon check-in!
